Would you like to know what it feels like to be rich?
If you are reading this, chances are you already know what it feels like to be rich but you possibly take life's gifts unthinking. There is a Kabala theory that in order to attract riches into your life you must first feel rich. In scientific terms this works on the basis that the subconscious mind attracts what you believe you deserve in life. So, I've devised a small exercise to help you to really feel rich. Many will read this article and think "yeah, ok, I get it" and never do anything about it. That's fine, if you think you've got it and just reading the article has changed your life, very good for you. However, I would urge you to actually consider trying this in order to gain the full impact, but only follow the first section - without food, if you are medically able to do so. Obviously, if you suffer from any medical conditions such as diabetes or hyperglycaemia I do not recommend you follow these instructions. The chances are that you feel impoverished because you are judging yourself on your peers. In this exercise you will judge yourself against the rest of the world, at the end of it you cannot fail to see how fortunate you are. My advise is to try and set aside a day when you are not at work in order to follow these instructions and get the best results. I want you to spend 24 hours without any of life's luxuries. The things you are going to give up for the day are as follows:
And finally, under no circumstances should you spend any money If you find you have a headache or feel queasy, and provided you are normally in good health, try not to take any drugs to compensate, the idea is that you experience exactly what it is like to be impoverished. Nearly 3 billion people in this world do not know what it is like to reach to the medicine cabinet every time they experience a headache. When you have completed this exercise, can you genuinely feel that you are living a life of poverty? In gratitude for the riches you have, I would highly recommend you count up just exactly how much money you did not spend in your 24 hours of self imposed poverty and donate it to a charity that helps those less fortunate than yourself, such as a homeless shelter or even donating directly to a beggar in the street. Make a difference.
